BARTLEY - With nine individual medalists, the Cambridge wrestling team finished in a familiar place in the team standings at Friday’s RPAC Tournament at Southwest. The Trojans scored 139 points at the meet, which was one fewer than Hitchcock County, who claimed the team title.

LOOMIS - The Hi-Line boys and girls basketball teams took on both Overton and Loomis last week as the boys split the two games to move to 4-10 this season while the girls dropped each to fall to 3-11.

CURTIS - Both the Southern Valley and Southwest girls basketball teams advanced to the RPAC Tournament semifinals with victories in Monday’s quarterfinal contests at Medicine Valley. In the first quarterfinal, fourth-seeded Southwest avenged an earlier loss to top-seeded Alma with a 57-44 victory.

Cambridge girls cruise to wins over Sutherland, Maxwell

MAXWELL - With a pair fo dominant wins last week, the Cambrigde girls basketball team extended its win streak to four and improved to 8-5 this season. The Trojans coasted past Sutherland Friday, leading by as many as 22 en route to a 47-27 victory.

MAXWELL - Needing a pair of wins to secure the second seed in the East for the upcoming RPAC Basketball Tournament, the Cambridge boys basketball team rolled past Sutherland and then hung on for a victory at Maxwell to move back over .500 for the first time since opening weekend.

DUNNING - The Cambridge wrestling team is consistent. With another runnerup finish at the Sandhills/ Thedford Invite Saturday, the Trojans have now finished runner-up at each tournament they’ve competed at this season.
