Raiders fall to Arthur County

CURTIS - The Medicine Valley Raiders volleyball team took on the Arthur County Wolves at home last Thursday and lost three sets to one. Arthur County won the first set 25-19, and the Raiders came back in the second to win with the same score. But the Wolves fought back and won the next two sets by five or more points.

Cambridge splits triangulars

With a pair of triangulars last week, the Cambridge volleyball team split four matches, taking two wins Tuesday at Paxton before dropping both home matches Thursday. The Trojans swept both Paxton and Sutherland Tuesday.

Hi-Line wins three of four

During a busy week, the Hi-Line volleyball team won three of four matches to climb above .500 at 3-2 for the season. The Bulls swept past both Medicine Valley on Tuesday and South Loup on Friday while splitting a triangular with Sumner-Eddyville-Miller and Wilcox-Hildreth on Thursday.
Southern Valley split duals with Gothenburg and Cozad last week, falling to the Swedes 25-18, 25-13, 25-22 before downing Cozad 22-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-23 to improve to 2-1 this season. No statistical information was available.

Roughriders sweep MHC, Rawlins County

The Arapahoe volleyball team traveled to Benkelman to take on the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers and the Hitchcock County Falcons in a triangular last Thursday. The Warriors swept both teams two sets to none, improving their record to 3-1.
