Not originally scheduled, Southwest picked up the game at South Platte when its first game of the season was cancelled by Heartland Lutheran.

CENTRAL CITY - The Southern Valley/Alma softball team grabbed a home victory Thursday over Hershey, 7-2, before splitting a triangular at Central City on Monday to move to 8-10 on the season. The Saints downed Ord Monday, 6-2, before falling to one of the tops teams in the State in Class C, Central City, by a score of 13-1.
