GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY

Body
In 2016 when Clarence Courtright died, his son John in Los Alamos, NM, contacted a member of the Furnas County Genealogical Society regarding 68 bound volumes of the Beaver City Times Tribune’s that were stored in the attic of his father’s home. WHAT A FIND! They were ultimately moved to my basement by Jim and Seth Gustafson. I mentioned this at a gathering and the care taker of Gordon John said she had seen six books in his home. I contacted his son Terry after Gordons’ death and he put them with the others. Terry also found five books in this father’s shop located in Beaver City. This gives us a total of 79 volumes dated from 1914 to 2009.
