[OMAHA, Nebraska, Dec. 15, 2025] — SheSports, a new digital content platform based in Omaha that connects girls ages 8 to 18 with female collegiate athletes through real stories and supportive conversation, has announced Hurrdat Sports as its Sports Media Partner.

MiHeCha McConnell passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born on January 10, 1940 in Seoul, South Korea. She married Larry Elvin McConnell in 1970 in Seoul. Larry preceded her in death in January 1972. She is survived by their daughter, Julia Ann, son-in-law Kenneth L. Krenk, and grandson Spencer Reid McConnell Krenk.

The Maywood National Honor Society sponsored a school-wide food drive for the Frontier County Pantry. Through the efforts of the school and community, they were able to reach their goal of collecting 1,000 items. Thanks to everyone supporting the drive. The Arapahoe-Holbrook Public Schools district is holding a special election for a Tax Authority Override of up to $750,000. With ballots due back January 13, we asked Arapahoe Superintendent Bob Drews to answer a series of five questions to help explains why the special vote was taking place and its importance for the district.
