Elwood School Board approves principal contract

ELWOOD – With two school board members absent and one of the members in attendance not feeling well, the January 13, 2021 school board meeting was shorter than usual. Several agenda items were tabled, and the meeting was adjourned after 15 minutes.

The board approved the principal contract with Ryan Jones, and the transfer of $30,000 from the General Fund to the Nutrition Fund. They also voted to consider 90 HVAC filters as surplus property.

Monthly board meetings are usually held the second Monday of the month; however, the January meeting is scheduled for the second Wednesday, January 12, 2022 to ensure that a quorum is present.
