The Center for Agricultural Profitability at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will present Returning to the Farm, a workshop series for families who are in the transition process of bringing members back to the farm or ranch. It will begin with a two-day workshop in Grand Island for multi-generational families on Dec. 8 and 9 in Grand Island at the Bosselman Convention Center located at Fonner Park, 700 E. Stolley Park Road.

Medicine Valley Board approves 6-man football

The Medicine Valley School Board approved moving to a 6-man classification in football during their meeting on Monday, November 13, 2023. Superintendent Scott Trimble says this will be a bit of a change for them as they have been 8-man for some time. Trimble says they have been meeting with parents, players, and coaches. The consensus was they were well under the playoff numbers at 22, the playoff number is 27.

These gifts can be for any child from the age of 0 through 12th grade in the Cambridge School District.We have so many donors ready to help! All gift-giving and gift-getting is anonymous!

Results from Cambridge FFA first CDE competitions in Curtis! Congratulations to the Natural Resources and AgriScience teams on qualifying for state!! Natural Resources: District Champion team: Aspen Webb 3rd place, Hunter Perks 6th, Mileeya Monter 8th, Erin Johnson 10th. AgriScience: Tied for first place lost the tie breaker 2nd place, Joslyn Holtze 2nd, Brooklyn Holtze 6th, Elisabeth Kubik 7th, Henry Shoemaker 13th. Livestock Judging: JH Team 7th, Jake Rasmussen 8th, Braxton Mitchell 17, Myles Stanton 30th, Graham Shoemaker 40th. Junior team 13th, Senior team 11th.
