The Center for Agricultural Profitability at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will present Returning to the Farm, a workshop series for families who are in the transition process of bringing members back to the farm or ranch. It will begin with a two-day workshop in Grand Island for multi-generational families on Dec. 8 and 9 in Grand Island at the Bosselman Convention Center located at Fonner Park, 700 E. Stolley Park Road.

The NCTA and UNLCASNR recruiting teams joined forces to connect with thousands of FFA members at the 96th Annual Convention in Indianapolis, IN. Several NCTA Aggies were also honored to receive their American Degrees.

BEAVER CITY – The city council met on Monday, November 20 and conducted their regular business in just over 30 minutes. The finance subcommittee met immediately after the meeting.

The Medicine Valley School Board approved moving to a 6-man classification in football during their meeting on Monday, November 13, 2023. Superintendent Scott Trimble says this will be a bit of a change for them as they have been 8-man for some time. Trimble says they have been meeting with parents, players, and coaches. The consensus was they were well under the playoff numbers at 22, the playoff number is 27.

These gifts can be for any child from the age of 0 through 12th grade in the Cambridge School District.We have so many donors ready to help! All gift-giving and gift-getting is anonymous!

Arapahoe’s Kristin Holcomb had a great time singing with 440 of Nebraska’s finest singers-Nebraska all-state choir. .

The Christmas Tour of Homes sponsored by Tiny Eagles Learning Center and the Southern Valley Area Christmas Cantata will help get people into the spirit on Sunday, December 3. The Tour of Homes is a self-guided tour of six locations this year.

AgriScience: Tied for first place lost the tie breaker 2nd place, Joslyn Holtze 2nd, Brooklyn Holtze 6th, Elisabeth Kubik 7th, Henry Shoemaker 13th. Livestock Judging: JH Team 7th, Jake Rasmussen 8th, Braxton Mitchell 17, Myles Stanton 30th, Graham Shoemaker 40th. Junior team 13th, Senior team 11th.

The Nebraska Music Educators Association All-State Choir concert was held recently in Lincoln. Cambridge was represented by Micah Gerlach and Leah Downer. Both were selected to participate in back-to-back years! Mrs Witt is doing a great job showcasing her students’ musical talents.
