The nine members of the Frontier County Extension Board use their knowledge, experience, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to guide the Nebraska Extension Frontier County Educators and office staff. They assist as a decision maker for the extension office to set a yearly budget, maintain facilities, order equipment, & program topic ideas. The group helps promote & advocate the Nebraska Extension story & impact to the public.

New light poles go up in Arapahoe

The City of Arapahoe received their new light poles last week for the downtown area. They go well with the downtown improvements being made on the sidewalks.

Thank you to everyone who helped in the meaningful rededication ceremony of the Civil War statue at Fairview Cemetery on Friday, November 10. Thanks to the Valley Voice, Cambridge Economic Development and Trinity Methodist Church for advertising the event and also to Cambridge Public Schools for providing the sound system and beautiful singers, Leah Downer and Mallory Springer.

Wrestling district assignments announced for boys, girls

LINCOLN - The Nebraska School Activities Association has announced district assignments for the upcoming wrestling season and each of the area schools will see some road time. Hi-Line, which was moved back up into Class C, will compete at the always-challenging District C-4, which will be hosted by Broken Bow on February 10.
