Cambridge City Council met on Monday, September 7. Council members Kevin Banzhaf and Mike Harris were absent. The Budget Hearing was called to order at 6:36 for the 2022-2023 Budget. City Clerk/Treasurer Kandra Kinne highlighted parts of the budget for council members. She said property tax request was down 3% from last year.

Terry Chambers of Arizona visited Bill and Mona Monter Wednesday afternoon at their apartment at Prairie Pines. He also visited Dan Haussler of Grand Island, NE at the apartment of Lelia Haussler.

Labor Day weekend, Kim and Joe Helms attended the Jurey family reunion in Holbrook on Saturday and Sunday. Kim and Joe went to the lake Saturday evening to celebrate Cassie Hilker’s 40th birthday. Joe’s brother, Lynn Jurey, was here from Florida and stayed for the reunion.
