Oxford has good audit report

Oxford - The Village of Oxford Board of Trustees had a good audit review with their auditor Tracy Cannon. She went over the benchmarking with the board, but said the population had dropped quite a bit since the last census so some numbers may look a little off. The benchmarking compares Oxford with other similar towns. The revenues and cash reserves are where they need to be and for the most part everything is in the average range. She said they will need to keep an idea on the sewer, it still has positive cash flow, but may need looked at in the future.

New Harlan County 4-H Road Signs

Body
Four Fresh new 4-H signs have sprung up across Harlan County. This project, to update the old 4-H road signs, started in 2019 by Harlan County 4-H Council members and members of the community in hopes of promoting 4-H and bringing pride to the 4-H program. These signs line highways 183, 136 and 89. Funding for the new 4-H road signs were made possible by generous donations from long time 4-H supporters; the Kenneth Bantam family, the Jared and Michelle Baker family, Peterson Livestock of Orleans, and TwoPTurf of Orleans. Keep your eyes out for the new, and fantastic looking Harlan County 4-H signs on your next drive!
