Body ELWOOD – After longtime Gosper County Sheriff Dennis Ocken retired at the end of January of this year, the county commissioners appointed Chief Deputy Craig Ward to Gosper County Sheriff in February. Both Ward and Deputy Jesse Naputi are running for County Sheriff.
