Sam Osterman pinned Kenny McClelland of Clearwater/Orchard in 1:43; won a 9-2 decision over Austin Ruskamp (35-9) of Freeman; lost a 1-7 decision to Forrest Jones (29-3) of Winside, won a 4-1 decision over Barrett Pieper (40-12) of NPSP; and lost 0-7 decision to Josh Eklund (46-4) of Friend for 4th place and a state medal.

Led by special ambassador Merle Adams, the Arapahoe high school wrestling team was honored for finishing fifth at the Nerbaska State Dual Tournament shortly before the Friday evening session at the State Wrestling Tournament this weekend.

The 2022 Cub Scout Psack 236 held their annual Blue and Gold Banquet on Friday night at the Ella Missing Community Center in Arapahoe. On Saturday, Harold and Darlene Low met Darlene’s niece, Nadine and Doug Milligan for lunch in McCook. Nadine and Doug recently moved to North Platte from the Ainsworth area. Harold and Darlene enjoyed the fellowship dinner at their church on Sunday.
