Beaver City man killed in Thursday afternoon crash

BEAVER CITY - On Thursday just after lunch time, Furnas County 911 received a report of a one-vehicle rollover with injuries near the intersection of Road 713 and Road 427, northwest of Beaver City. Deputies from the Furnas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, along with Beaver City Fire and Rescue, Beaver City EMS, Phelps County Advanced Life Support, and Apollo MedFlight Nebraska.

Frontier County Fair begins next week

STOCKVILLE - the 139th Frontier County Fair in Stockville begins Monday and runs through Sunday of next week. The fair begins Monday with the small animal show at 9 a.m.
