A memorial service for Michael K.

Andrijeski will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Holdrege, NE with Father Jay Buhman as celebrant.

Michael “Mike” Kent Andrijeski, 65 years of age, of Oxford, passed away on December 10, 2025, at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, NE. Mike was born in Pensacola, FL, on October 8, 1960, the eldest of three children, born to Ron and Donna (Klumpe) Andrijeski. Plains Community College in North Platte in 1986. Growing up, Mike enjoyed working on cars and lawnmowers.

Following his education, Mike worked at Hawkins Manufacturing in Holdrege.

On April 25, 1992, Mike was united in marriage to Jenay Meester at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Elm Creek, and to this union, one son was born, Steven.

The couple made their home in Oxford, where Mike worked as a truck driver for Cargill for five years.

Mike enjoyed drag racing his car and watching all kinds of sports, especially Nebraska football. Mike could usually be found tinkering in his garage.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his uncle Marvin Andrijeski; and his father-in-law, Curtis John Meester.

Mike is survived by his wife, Jenay Andrijeski of Oxford; one son, Steven Andrijeski of Holdrege; his stepmother, Phyl Andrijeski of Holdrege; one brother, Mark Andrijeski and wife, Carla of Holdrege; one sister, Tami Mues and husband, Darren of Holdrege; motherin- law, Judy Meester of Holdrege; two sistersin- law: Corinne Gebel and her husband, Gary of Wilcox, NE; and Chris Layton and her husband, Jeff of McCook, NE; step-sister, Lori Doellman and husband, Steve from Bloomington, IL, and their three boys: Justin, Drew, and Bradley; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

There will be no visitation or memorial book signing. The family is honoring Mike’s wish for cremation.

A memorial has been established in Mike’s honor and kindly accepted by the family for later designation.
