A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mickeal “Mike” “Mick” (Roeder) Campbell will be held at a later date.

Mickeal “Mike” “Mick” (Roeder) Campbell, 66 years of age, of Oxford, Nebraska, departed this world on February 18, 2025, after a puzzling illness. He was born on March 3, 1958, during a snow storm in Kearney, Nebraska; growing up, his family moved to multiple states and he completed high school in Orleans in 1977.

He worked a variety of jobs, from riding horses at the sale barn and for cattle drives, to road construction, to hauling bait, and hauling grain.

He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and was a great story teller. He was married twice before marrying, Christine Stump in January of 1987.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Roeder and husband, Wayne Roeder; and a sister, Patricia Graf.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Roeder of Oxford; children: Cassie, April, Dusty, and Brandon Roeder of Oxford; daughter, Jessica Trobough and husband, Chris of Windsor, Missouri; step-son, Patrick Buethe of Oxford; niece, Nicole Morgan of Oxford; four grandsons: Noah of Oxford; and Maverick, RJ, and Damien of Windsor; sisters: Deb Evans and husband Louis of Phillipsburg, Kansas; Diane Christensen of Orleans; Vicky Graff and husband, Richard of Orleans; and Judy Bose and husband, Chuck of Stamford; a brother, Allen Roeder of Lincoln, Nebraska; along with nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

There will not be a Visitation, Viewing or Memorial Book Signing.

The family has chosen cremation.

A memorial has been established in his honor and kindly suggested to the family.
