MONTA R. FULLER
Monta Rae (Pywell) Fuller, daughter of Lowell (Sam) Pywell and Velma Pywell (Dillon) was born at their farm northwest of Norton, KS on January 28 th , 1934. She departed from this life at her home of 65 years in Bloomington, CA on February 3 rd , 2022 at the age of 88.
Monta Rae married Jimmie Fuller of Wilsonville, NE on January 28 th, 1957 in Riverside, CA at a Methodist Church. To this union was born Ginger Mae and Valerie Jean.
Monta Rae attended a county school near the farm and attended Norton High School for four years. Prior to Jimmie being stationed at March Air Force base in California, he proposed to Monta Rae. Shortly after, she jumped on a Grey Hound bus and headed to California to marry the love of her life.
For several years Monta Rae walked the local neighborhoods collecting donations for the March Of Dimes. She enjoyed crochet work and loved her family deeply. She leaves behind her husband of 65 years, her two daughters, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Monta Rae asked that her urn be buried next to her husband Jimmie and her parents at the Wilsonville cemetery after Jimmie passes. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Elbert Pywell, nephew Ronnie Pywell and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. To know Monta Rae was to love her. She will be missed dearly.
