PEG OLMSTED
Peg Olmsted got her angel wings on June 20, 2026 at the age of 93.
Eula (Peg) Olmsted was born on June 18, 1933 to Guy and Mildred (Whitfield) White. She graduated from Edison, NE High School in 1951. While in high school she met the love of her life and best friend Delbert Olmsted.
They were married on July 11, 1951. Peg and Delbert were 21 days from celebrating their 75th wedding anniversary.
Following Delbert’s naval service, they settled on a farm near Beaver City, NE. In 1997 Peg and Delbert moved to Lincoln to spend their retirement years. They spent eight winters in south Texas and loved that time.
Peg and Delbert were lifetime Presbyterians, first in Beaver City and then at Eastridge Presbyterian Church in Lincoln. Their faith was an integral part of their lives.
Peg was a proud and wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed her career at the Edison Co-op. She loved harvest time, embroidering, entertaining family and friends, and Husker sports. Peg and Delbert spent a lot of time playing cards and dominoes.
