Roselyn Marie (Wells) Junker was born July 9, 1929 at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA to Louis F and Jeannette (Longley) Wells and passed from this life March 9, 2024 at Phelps Memorial Health Center surrounded by her family. At 5 years of age, she was sent by train from Spokane to Stanley, ND to live on a farm with a great aunt and uncle.

There she learned to yodel and drive a team of horses. She spent time serenading the pigs. Once WWII broke out, she stepped up and helped with all the farm work due to a shortage of farm hands.

At 16 she set out on her own and held a variety of jobs. They included but were not limited to ranch hand, nurses aid, camp cook, commercial fisherman, alfalfa mill truck driver and mom to an unruly sewer crew.

In 1958 she married William J Huff and to that union was born their only child Kayleen. In 1974 she and Bill divorced. 1975 she married the love of her life Lawrence (Shorty) Junker. Her adventures continued as she took up the life of a gypsy following construction jobs.

Then in 1977 they moved to Nebraska where they lived for 6 years. That is when they made the decision to move to Texas where they continued to travel in the semi seeing the United States. In 1989 when their son-inlaw was asked to take over his family farm, they moved back to Nebraska to be with them. They settled into life in the wonderful little town of Beaver City where she made friends easily and was loved by many.

Her hobbies helped keep her young. Crocheting, rock hounding, making spheres, cooking, camping and finally fishing all demanded her attention.

She is preceded in death by her husband, former husband, motherin- law and father-in-law.

Survivors include daughter Katie (Royce) Marble, grandchildren John (Kathyrn) Marble, Kerrie (Mike) Williams, Naomi Rule and Fred Marble, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
