Delroy L. Hemsath, 79 of Kearney passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE. Memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2025 at the Kearney First United Methodist Church with pastor Jo Ellen Axthelm officiating. Interment followed at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery with military honors provided by the Nebraska National Guard Funeral Honors Team in Conjunction with the North Platte Funeral Honors Team.

Richard “Dick” Fugate, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 9, 2025. Born on July 22, 1942, in North Platte, Nebraska, Dick proudly served in the Air Force as a munitions technician in Libya during the Korean War. He began his career with the Bell System and worked in the telecommunications industry until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his father, Archie Fugate; his mother, Ruby Fugate; and his sons, Brian Fugate and stepson Andy Butrick.

Roger Dale Babcock, age 81, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2023. Roger was born October 17th, 1942, to Dale and Evelyn Babcock in Sidney, Nebraska.

LINCOLN, Nebraska Shirley May (Hatcher) Nelms passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, at Hillcrest Nursing Home. Shirley was the third born daughter to Paul and May (Morosic) Hatcher on December 17, 1934, on the family farm near Indianola.
