Despite shooting fairly well, the Southern Valley girls lost both away games against Gothenburg and Overton this week.
The Lady Eagles are now 1-4 for the season.
SV traveled to Gothenburg Thursday and outshot the Swedes from the 2 point area 32%-23.3%. Heading into half time, the score was tied 18-18. However, making 20 turnovers and getting outrebounded both offensively and defensively contributed to the Eagles 32-50 loss.

At Overton on Saturday, the SV Eagles again struggled with rebounding grabbing just 25 compared with the 39 Overton posted.
