Wolves end season with victory at Bertrand

Maywood/Hayes Center’s football team closed out its season with a bang, picking up a win at Bertrand 32-30. The game got off to a dire start with Bertrand returning the opening kickoff 55 yards for a touchdown then pinning MHC on its own one-yard line for its first offensive possession.

The Maywood/Hayes Center volleyball team rolled into the RPAC tournament semifinals on a seven-match winning streak, but saw its hopes of a conference championship dashed Monday night in a 3-1 loss to West No. 1 seed Dundy County Stratton.
