All three local girls golf seasons saw their seasons come to a close Monday at their respective district tournaments. Southwest competed at the District C-5 Tournament in Ogallala while Hi-Line and Cambridge competed at the District C-4 Meet in Cambridge.

CAMBRIDGE - The Cambridge volleyball team continued its recent hot-streak when it welcomed Maywood-Hayes Center to town Thursday. The Trojans jumped all over the Wolves in the opener, then made the plays late in the second and third sets for a 25-8, 25-20, 25-20 sweep to win their seventh-straight match.

WALLACE - The Hi-Line volleyball team hit off to a strong start at Wallace Thursday, but couldn’t hold a lead in a five-set setback to the Wildcats. The Bulls pulled out tight victories of 25-22 and 25-20 in the first two sets, but Wallace rallied for the reverse sweep in a 22-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-21, 15-8 victory that dropped Hi-Line to 6-15 this season.
