Southern Valley Assistant Boy’s high school coach, Mike Lanham, is set to retire for a second time from the school’s basketball program at the end of the 2021 season.

After a tough loss at Alma last Tuesday, the Arapahoe girls basketball team started building momentum toward the post season last weekend, rolling to a 58-18 victory over Brady and a 58-24 win over Hitchcock County.

As the Class D, SubDistrict 1A runner-up, Arapahoe advances eight wrestlers to the District finals, which will be hosted at Weeping Water on Saturday, Feb. 13. Matches are scheduled to begin at to a.m. Saturday.
