Trojans, Warriors take second, fourth at DCS

Body Arapahoe and Cambridge competed in the Dundy Country Stratton on Jan. 8. Cambridge earned 132 points to finish in second behind McCook with 187.5 points. Arapahoe was fourth in 107 points with Sutherland finished third with 120.5 points.

Body SUMNER - Taking on some of the best teams in the region, the Hi-Line girls basketball team dropped a pair of contests last week to one-loss foes, falling 61-30 at Maywood-Hayes Center on Tuesday and 49-29 at Sumner-Eddyville-Miller on Thursday.

Body ARAPAHOE - Consistent scoring proved problematic for the Arapahoe boys basketball team last week as the Warriors lost a halftime lead at Medicine Valley Friday, then got overrun by visiting Loomis on Saturday as they fell to 3-8 this season.
