Body After a tough loss at Alma last Tuesday, the Arapahoe girls basketball team started building momentum toward the post season last weekend, rolling to a 58-18 victory over Brady and a 58-24 win over Hitchcock County.

Body As the Class D, SubDistrict 1A runner-up, Arapahoe advances eight wrestlers to the District finals, which will be hosted at Weeping Water on Saturday, Feb. 13. Matches are scheduled to begin at to a.m. Saturday.

Body Southern Valley advanced eight wrestlers with a fourthplace team finish at the Class D, Sub-District 3A tournament, and Hi-Line advanced seven, with a fifth-place finish, to the District finals, which will be hosted at Central Valley on Saturday, Feb. 13.

Body The Southwest girls’ team earned a 37-31 victory over the Tigers of Dundy CountyStratton on Friday, Feb. 5, to improve to 8-10 on the season.

Body Dundy County-Stratton earned a 67-27 win over the Southwest boys on Friday, Feb. 5. The Tigers earned an early lead, 21-3, in the first quarter and didn’t let up through the whole game.
