For those of you who have been playing along, we have spent the last two weeks exploring Charles Dicken’s classic, “A Christmas Carol.” Today we discuss the third and last version of our theatrical production. This week we will explore an intriguing topic; what Dickens doesn’t tell us about Scrooge in his classic. Dicken’s unwritten words are the strongest lessons of his fictional tale. It is the story of perseverance, forgiveness, charity, and Christ’s love all wrapped together.

CAMBRIDGE - Three local teams totaled up 13 individual medals and Cambridge again finished tournament runner-up at the Fran Jorgensen Invite in Cambridge Saturday. The tournament field included 20 teams as Minden ran away with the team title, scoring 195 points, while the Trojans scored 165 points to secure second.

Arapahoe boys win rematch

BARTLEY - In a rematch from the first round of the Cattle Trail Tournament, Arapahoe traveled to Bartley Friday for a regular season bout with Southwest. And in similar fashion to the first meeting, the Warriors took control in the middle quarters, then held off a late Roughriders rally for a 57-49 victory.
