When I was Governor, we eliminated state income taxes on Social Security benefits. We need to provide this same relief at the federal level. I’m fighting to protect Social Security. CAMBRIDGE - Facing its biggest challenge to date this season, the Cambridge football team again passed with flying colors Thursday night, dealing Bertrand its first loss of the season while improving to 4-0 with a 56-6 victory.

When to Get Immunized for RSV

Cold and flu season will be arriving soon, including Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) which is most common during the fall and winter months. Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department (SWNPHD) encourages residents to get their RSV vaccinations early in October before the RSV season begins. RSV season usually starts in October and lasts through March.

Last week, America witnessed the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk. Charlie was a young conservative activist, a husband, and a father of two. He inspired thousands of young people. His mission was simple but powerful: to resolve disagreements through robust and substantive discourse. He welcomed challenges, inviting those who opposed him to debate and engage in open dialogue.

Frontier Stitchers Quilt Guild donation

The Frontier Stitchers Quilt Guild decided to make comfort quilts as their community project for 2025. Each member was to make one or more quilts to donate to the Frontier County Sheriff’s department for them to have on hand for emergency situations. They presented the quilts to the Sheriff at the Curtis Fall Festival. If you would be interested in joining this group, call 402-366-7227 or 308-367-7102.
