Hosted by the Nebraska Rural Response Hotline in collaboration with the Nebraska Department of Agriculture’s Beginning Farmer Tax Credit and Negotiations Programs, Nebraska Extension, and the Nebraska Farmers Union Foundation, these workshops are designed to help producers prepare for the future of their operations.

NCTA Crops Judging Team Legacy Continues

Continuing a strong tradition of excellence, the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture Crops Judging Team earned a first-place team finish at Oklahoma State University. Under the guidance of agronomy professor and coach Dr. Brad Ramsdale, NCTA’s teams have consistently performed in regional and national contests, and this latest victory adds to that growing legacy. This competition was a first for the host and included three schools in the two-year division and six schools in the four-year division, with all students completing the same rigorous contest components.

Nebraska Community Foundation Grant awarded to Frontier County Food Pantry

The Frontier County Nebraska Food Pantry has been selected to receive funding from the Trailblazer Community Investment Fund, administered by the Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF). The Trailblazer Community Investment Fund is a long-term philanthropic initiative designed to invest in rural communities along the Trailblazer CO2 pipeline system. It is funded by Tallgrass and managed by NCF.
