Cambridge students attend State Science Olympiad

The Cambridge Board of Education met in regular session on Monday, April 13, 2026. All board members were present for the meeting. After the Pledge of Allegiance and the Open Meeting Law announcement, the Board recognized guests for public comments.

There will be an Easter Pageant meeting on Tuesday, May 19th at the Curtis Station at 6:00 p.m. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend..

CURTIS – The Medicine Valley School Board met on April 13 for their regular monthly meeting. The board approved the agenda and consent agenda, the March board meeting minutes, and this month’s agenda, board bills, and treasurer’s report, followed by committee updates and facility project updates.

MAYWOOD – During the monthly Maywood School Board meeting on Monday, April 13, social studies teacher, Colby Hamilton, gave an American Civics Report on the results of the annual immigration test given to high school seniors.

The Elwood Public Schools Board of Education met on Monday, April 13th, 2026. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Ryan Shutts was absent and all other board members were present. There was no public comment.

Spring has officially arrived. Crabapples and flowering pears are nearing full bloom, and tulips and daffodils are putting on a colorful show. But not everything popping up this time of year is welcome.

The Village of Bartley will be celebrating 140 years early this summer. A historical talk will be given at the Bartley Library on May 3, 2026 at 2:00PM. Historian Kevin Mc-Gregor will present a program of history about Bartley and Red Willow County. Kevin is the grandson of Bill and Ruth Teter.
