Carolyn Schmidt, of McCook, passed away at Community Hospital in McCook on Friday, September 11, 2026. She was 82 years of age.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook. Carolyn’s family will greet friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Tuesday morning, September 22, 2026 at Peace Lutheran Church in McCook. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook will follow services.
