State-Bound

Body
At local district wrestling competitions this weekend, 20 wrestlers from five area schools earned their way to this weekend's Class D State Wrestling Tournament in Omaha. Some wrestlers dominated in much the same fashion that they have the entire season.
Some local State Wrestling qualifiers were expected, like Arapahoe’s Tristian White (pictured below), who grabbed his 100th career pin in cruising to the district title at 152 pounds. Others, like Cambridge’s Hunter Perks (pictured left) had to spring a number of upsets at districts to get to the State Meet. More information on the State Wrestling Tournament and the 21 local athletes that qualified can be found on Pages B6 and B7.
