10/6/25: Vandalism/ Property Damage, Holbrook, NE: The Furnas County Sheriff’s office investigated a vandalism incident at the former Holbrook Public School Building which now serves as a private residence. Deputies found multiple broken windows and obscenities spraypainted on an exterior wall.

by Kathy Long As a relatively new member of the book club at Butler Memorial Library, I have enjoyed reading a variety of books and then discussing them at our monthly meetings. However, our latest book, titled ‘Once Upon A Town’ caught me by surprise.
