Body BERTRAND - The Southern Valley Eagles and Hi-Line Bulls competed at the Jerry Stine Invite in Bertrand last Friday. The Lady Eagles won with 118 points, and the Hi-Line boys won with 108 points.

Body CURTIS - On another blustery day, the Hi-Line boys golf team rose above the challenge to post a 353 and finish second at the Medicine Valley Golf Invite last Thursday.

Body CAMBRIDGE - The Medicine Valley Track Invite, hosted at Cambridge, took place last Friday. For the ladies, Cambridge won, Maywood-Hayes Center placed second, Medicine Valley placed fourth, Arapahoe placed sixth, and Southwest placed ninth.

Body ALMA - The Hi-Line boys golf team again finished runner-up and medaled four golfers at the Alma Invite Monday. The Bulls posted a 342 and finished seven strokes back of Overton and four ahead of Loomis.

Body Deterding and Ahlemeyer went third and fifth in the pole vault, and Johnson placed sixth in the triple jump. The MHC Lady Wolves had 84 points as a team for second place.

Body The Elwood Public Schools Board of Education met on Thursday, April 11th, 2024. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m.

Body Hudson Weeder shot 83 to take 11th. Hi-Line’s Judah Niemeier rounded out the medalists with an 85, good for 15th place.

Body CAMBRIDGE - Arapahoe, Cambridge, Maywood-Hayes Center, Southern Valley, and Southwest competed with other schools as the annual Don Stine Invite at Cambridge Monday.

Body ARNOLD - The Medicine Valley track and field team traveled to Arnold, NE, to compete at the South Loup Invite last Friday. The boys placed fourth as a team with 66 points and the girls placed third as a team with 64 points.

Body JOHNSON LAKE - With howling winds, four local golf teams opened their seasons last Thursday at the Hi-Line Invite. Despite the conditions, four teams broke 360 in team score and Southern Valley finished fifth with a 372 and Hi-Line took sixth with a 376.
