We’ve received more rain! The gauge here on The Hill showed another .60 on Wednesday night and 1.10 on Friday night/Saturday morning. The Friday night rain piled a bit of pea to marble size hail on my patio. The wheat heads are peeking out now so hail we’re not needing now, as well as any more freezing temps. It’s amazing at the difference the moisture has made in the looks of the wheat.

More than 1,100 graduates in commencement ceremonies. Events were held in Omaha, Lincoln, Norfolk, Kearney and Scottsbluff Diplomas and certificates were conferred on more than 1,100 University of Nebraska Medical Center students during ceremonies held May 2 in Lincoln, Norfolk and Kearney and May 4 in Omaha and Scottsbluff.

Cambridge City Council met on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. After the Pledge of Allegiance, Mayor Gunderson announced the public hearing for Los Abuelos Liquor License. There was no public comment. A motion was made and seconded to approve the liquor license for Los Abuelos restaurant. The motion passed.
