Body OXFORD – Southern Valley School Board held their August board meeting on August 10, 2026, immediately following the Open House for the 2026-2027 School Year. Southern Valley Elementary is creating a Reading Garden off of the library.

Body CURTIS – The Medicine Valley Public Schools Board conducted its business in less than an hour on Monday, August 10, 2026. A bid from TLE Enterprises, LLC for $54,000 for a bus barn for the district’s three buses was accepted.

Body The Indianola Alumni 1891–1969 met August 6, 2026, at St Catherine’s Church Hall, with a total of 53 attendees, including graduates, spouses, and guests. It marked the 135th Anniversary of our first graduate in 1891 – Lillian Welborn Machechnie.
